Maison de Vacances is a French family company founded by Michèle Fouks in 1995. The idea was born in the heart of Paris, in the Gardens of the Palais Royal with a first boutique nestled under the arcades of the garden, a stone's throw from the columns of Buren and du Louvre, between modernity and tradition.
The collection is therefore very refined, based on materials such as natural linen, cashmere and knitwear, and highlighting luxury craftsmanship: saddle stitching and hand embroidery is at the heart of the collections.

These super fine cotton voile coverlets are patiently stitched by hand, each one taking a week to complete. Crafted in thin layers of cotton voile and lined with cotton batting, only the super fine fabric brushes against your skin, not the stitches themselves. These coverlets are so light, yet so warm-–ideal for year round sleeping.
